On her journey of learning and living Karina has founded SmilingOne and developed the unique product/process THE RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUAL (Responsibility Coaching™ & Mentoring) & the Responsibility Coach™ Education - hand in hand with the SmilingOne Team and her SmilingOne Partner Vivian.

In 2008 she published the book and responsibility manual THE RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUAL and is currently having more books in writing.

Karina has a deep passion for people and community development. Her passion has been instrumental in developing and facilitating the SmilingOne non-profit People & Community Building Initiative. She calls this initiative ONE SOCIETY and the approach THE CIRCLE OF CHANGE.

It has already touched people's lives in communities such as South African Prisons (2010 - their third year with hundreds of inmates in the process), assisted successful re-integration and empowered informal settlements in Cape Town (from 2010 - the Gugulethu/Nyanga Youth & Community Process).

Karina inspires change and responsible living by availing herself as a Student and Explorer of Life and inviting her programme participants to explore/learn alongside her… unlocking potential!
